THE FARM IS STILL ALIVE

SMILES TO LIFE

Although the law suit does not give any sign of improvement, life continues, Yoga studyo bring little money, which at least covers its expanses,

and as far as the bills and farms expanses are concerned, thanks to the selling of the moon garden, some NICE DONATIONS and PRESENTS FROM LIFE  we can  pay the bills and survive

...

Yet no way to think of rebuilding the farm ...

However the plans for 2015 aim at organising the ...

COMMUNITY PROJECT

in the form of

ECO BUILDING and DESIGN CAMP in YUNUS EMRE FARM

Guided by our french friends Karine Kiko and Yannick,

we shall learn to

BUILD A ROCKET STOVE MASS HEATER , EARTH FLOOR ,

DESIGN A COMPLETE ECOLOGICAL HOUSE ,

DO PLASTERS

and other works

This beautiful event will take place in JUNE 2015

BIG SURPRISES

YES BIG SURPRISES GIVEN BY LIFE ONCE AGAIN ... Where we find that plans do not hold in front of unexpected life !

First surprise: Back with this money received from the Donation campaign, i learn that it is time to pay the Lawyer's FEES... 5000 EUROS !!

And you know how high the Euro has become in just one month time ...

I manage to explain to our lawyer that this is impossible for the farm and we negotiate some delay.

I will pay 2000 euros in two times, end of December, and end of January 2014.

DURGA has received her tin sheet roof, yes :o)

but we definitely have to postpone the other works...

Second surprise: i go to Istanbul to ultimately talk with our Lawyer about the law suit and the financial situation of the farm, which despite the huge help brought by friends, is not yet solved and stable, ... far from !

And ... our lawyer OFFERS HIS OWN HELP !

We then agreed to conclude a kind of financial partnership where the Lawyer will become owner of MOON GARDEN, yet not being able to sell the field to anyone else BUT Yunus Emre farm or me, during 10 years.

The farm can thus continue to use the field as if it would still be owner.

Of course some other  conditions apply.

Our Lawyer as it seems, understood the Yunus Emre farm's message and offered to HELP and this is very beautiful.

This agreement will allow the farm to:

-- Pay the lawyer's fees and being without debt regarding law suit.

-- Sort out the Yoga Studyo Antalya administrative situation, thus allow real development of the studyo, thus -inshallah - enough incomes to cover the farm's expenses ??

-- Hopefully create a more secure situation regarding finances until the law suit comes to an end...

It is said that one always receives what ones really NEEDS, at each and every moment of life.

This is also valid for money.

I always try to keep this in mind.

EXPENSES

DURGA 's roof = 5200 TL  = much more than expected for two reasons : first it became necessary to reinforce the roof with metal bars , second, euro and dollar raising up so much for us ....

LAWYER's fees = 2000 euros paid end of December + end of January

3000 euros pending, should be paid end of February

the farm has no debts.

FINANCIAL BALANCE - DONATIONS - FINANCIAL SITUATION

IMPORTANT  :

The application made to the Turkish government for help has been rejected.
The farm do not receive any other income or help but the one of her friends, YOU.
For some incredible and complex administrative reasons, when i quited aviation for medical reasons, i could not benefit from my insurance, neither could i benefit from early retirement.
So although i had taken these precautions since long... i find myself in the incredible and inexpected situation of having no income at all.

The only way now for the farm to generate some income is through the yoga classes in Antalya.
At present they only start to cover their own expenses (rental of the place and transportation). Yet they are likely to develop positively and thus might participate in covering the farm’s expenses which are still high.

Developement project of the yoga classes :
 ICCA Internation Community College of Antalya could accept yoga classes for children and team.
 GLORIA Hôtels in Antalya, are likely to accept yoga interventions in the form of yoga days/ week ends/ even weeks. Public would be large but also specific for the Gloria Hotels project to host high level sportsmen and woman training and offered to participate in their training with yoga.

Of course as soon as the farm can host again seminars, this should bring about some income too.
Hopefully next year.

Lastly as far as the suit is concerned, there should be money coming, but it might take long time.
We do hope that a friendly agreement will take place. Otherwise the suit might last for years..
The soon coming meeting in the Court will hopefully give us more information about this.
